Older Women With Women In Girdles

Year in Review Part 2 / Year in Review Part 2

And on we go: The summer was opened in Gwundergarten garden gate with an open day for friends, acquaintances and relatives. Since the spring was very cold and rainy, was advised unfortunately my garden three weeks behind and it flourished not a rose, even though it was already mid-June. But my garden was the icing on the cake by Ida with her wonderful pottery, which they distributed throughout the garden. Hach, I would have preferred to leave everything always like that. Look at yourself ..

Let's go on: In the summer started with a Gwundergarten open-door garden party for friends and relatives. Because of the wet and cold spring my garden was three weeks behind its time, that means no roses were blooming even though it was mid of June. However the beautiful designs from Ida gave a special touch to my garden. I would have loved to keep them all for ever. Have a look by yourself ...

Well, and then came the summer with the rose bloom! It was just beautiful, even if a lush. I had made so many roses to plant until it repents me not what to cut for me than bouquets. Um, this goal I have not yet reached ... So is further planted.

And then came the time of the roses ... summer! It was so beautiful but it did not take very they flowered long and not as many as in other years. When I started, I decided to plant so many roses until I did not bother to cut a bouquet for myself ... This goal I have not yet reached ... so I plan on further.

This summer I visited the first time the Rose Bischofszell week. Great as the town was cleaned out and everywhere the scent of roses filled the air.

This summer I visited for the first time rose the week of Bischofszell. The little town looked so pretty in its gown of roses everywhere and it smelled so gorgeous.

I also was able to visit different gardens. This one for example ... It is the incredible rose garden of Jana. Now it has planted over a hundred roses ... yeah, because I may be long before I caught up with her: o).

I was very lucky that I was allowed to have a different look in gardens this year. This one belongs to Jana. She has planted over hundred roses in her garden. It was a joy to stroll around and have a look at each of them.

This garden belongs here Pilgrim, a friend from a garden forum. It is a city park and not particularly big, but with its incredible diversity, and it offers many animals, not only house cat Filou, shelter. Who wants to see more of these two gardens click out here.

This garden belongs to Pilgrim, a friend from a garden forum. It's a little garden in a town but it's very diverse and a bit wild. It gives many animals, not only cat Filou, a home. If you like to see more about those gardens click here.

visited with the garden this year, we represent the nursery of Countess von Zeppelin. This nursery I did super well, but they are better attended in the spring, because in the summer to fight again, with the heat. I especially liked the diversity of species, as obtained in the nurseries in my area often always set the same candidates on the eyes, dabei hält die Natur so viel Abwechslung bereit. Ein bisschen mehr Mut zur Abwechslung wünsche ich den Gärtnereien in der Schweiz für das Jahr 2011.

With my friends from the garden forum we visited the nursery "Gräfin von Zeppelin". I love this nursery, but the best time for a visit is in spring time because in summer they have also to fight against the heat (plants looked a bit thirsty). I especially liked the wide range of plants one could get there. Nature has so much to show and I don't understand why nurseries close to my home ignore this and do always sell the same kind of plants. I wish the nurseries in my country a bit more courage for 2011.

Und dann came the autumn, with its wonderful color palette.

And then came fall with its wonderful colors.

And with the cooler temperatures came in women's Alex again energy and drive on. The round shrub left with the euphonious name Firethorn, corresponded fully to his name. Dorn ... and what a it was me in the eye. Get rid of it and do it now. The hubby has just sighed, his eyes turned and made haste out of the dust. Woman has resorted to the pick and shovel, because they clearly had enough of this nasty and vicious attacks by the spines of this crap (yes I admit's to the end of the gods had to husband mitanpacken but still). Yes, I know, even plants are living beings have a right to life ... but I was not the one who started the war, I say to you. If he spikes his neatly kept to himself ... we would have on the asylum application can negotiate again. But soooo not, not with me! With the cooler temperatures

I got new energy and new garden plans. The shrub on the left was a pyracantha ... You recognize that I wrote "what" that's because it's now in the heaven shrub. For too long I had to fight with its thorns ... They Seemed to be everywhere. When I was weeding they were hiding in the soil and my viciously EQUIPMENT. Bad mistake! Sun while my husband was rolling his eyes and was hurrying out of sight I took out the pick and shovel. I needed about 2 weeks and at the end a helping hand from my husband but then it became its death blow. It sounds hard, I know, but I did not start the war ... and enough is enough.

Yes, I know, it looks even more dismal. But the Philadelphus is now that he has the sun again, sharing grow and peacefully in accordance with Osmanthus the neighborhood. The Lions will then relish tales Rose grow down over the stone walls of the pond. Unless the plan, now they would have to just keep it and we already know ...

Yes I know it still looks a bit sad and empty. But now the Philadelphus is getting more sun and will become green leaves again. In his neighborhood of Osmanthus grows now, I'm sure they will now live in peace with each other. The fairy rose "Lion" is allowed to grow over the little stone wall. So far the plan but we all know that plants seldom take our ways.
up in October, the roses were in bloom but also the Hydrangea Limelight.

The roses and the Limelight hydrangea flowered until October. brought

Autumn me a rich mushroom harvest. I have never found so many mushrooms as this year. It was really fun with the basket through the woods to walk.

In case I found a lot of mushrooms. I've never found so many boletus edulis like this year. It was fun to walk through the woods and look out for them.

In November I ran into this kitten. Boy was his name. A small guy who took my heart in the storm and would not have been Noah, and my hubby, I would have adopted him. He sat for six months at the shelter and its people terribly missed. Because I saw how he was just getting worse and his "Pijama" slow too big for him was, I started my lunch break to spend with him at the shelter. And then finally he found his man. Noah and hubby sighed with relief. Boy now has a good home and I am glad this month am aller meisten. Ein bisschen von meinem Herzen hat er mitgenommen und es soll ihn auch weiterhin begleiten.

In November this cat crossed my way in the animal shelter. His name was Boy. This little guy won my heart immediately and hadn't there been Noah and my husband I would have adopted him. He was sitting over half a year in the animal shelter and missed his human very much. I saw him suffering and getting worse... his fur was getting to big for him. So I decided to spend my lunch time with him so that he had at least for a short time his own human being. Finally a family came along which fell immediately in love with him. Bingo, Boy got the jackpot and got a new home. Noah and my husband took a great breath of relief. For me it was the nicest moment in November. Well, he took a bit of my heart with him but that's okay and it shall accompany him.

finally came in December then the snow and with it my birthday when I was allowed to celebrate the fourth time zero. It did not hurt at all ... for all those who have yet to travel. Okay, anyway my motto is: Women can only be advanced with the age (s) he will. Yeah frozen, now please awe * giggle *. Well, I probably still a lot older before slamming the intelligence.
You see it was an eventful and mostly positive year. I hope that you can draw a positive line under all your financial statement and else .. it can always be better.

In diesem Sinne, habt einen fröhlichen Jahreswechsel und man liest sich...

In December finally snow came and with it my birthday. This year I celebrated for the fourth time a zero. For all under forty, believe me, I didn't hurt. Well, my motto is: One can only get wiser with the age. Okay, it will take a lot more years until the full prudence get over me *LOL*.
You see my year was mostly a good one and I hope for you it was a good one too. If not... it can only get better.

In this sense have a happy New Year and we will read from each other...

Liebe Grüsse / Take care
Alex
